Egg Nog French Toast
I hope to never eat french toast another way! Makes two slices, but recipe would easily double, triple, quadruple!

1 free-range organic egg
1/3 cup low-fat egg nog
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon (or fresh, if you are fancy like that!)
2 slices bakery fresh raisin-cranberry bread (or any fancy bread you like)
2 tsp. salted butter
Mix up all of your ingredients except the butter and bread
While you are whisking away, getting your eggs nice and fluffy, heat a non-stick pan to medium-high heat and get your butter all melty.
Once your pan is warm, soak your bread in the egg mixture. Make sure both sides are saturated. The mixture should be pretty much gone when you have soaked both pieces of bread.
Put soaked bread into pan. It should sizzle as you set it down.
Once the edges start to set and look like fried egg, it is time to flip. Aprox 2.5 minutes. The underside should be golden and crisp.
Cook for another 2.5-3 minutes, until both sides are golden and crispy. Serve hot with maple syrup! ( and a christmas orange or two!=) )
