Wendy’s Chili Remake
Makes 12 Servings

*No pictures as this is the LEAST photogenic food in the world!*;) This is the only food I wanted to eat after my appetite started to return after the stomach flu. Makes a boatload of chili. Half to be frozen!
2 lbs extra lean ground beef, browned
2 green peppers, chopped
1 large yellow onion, chopped
1/2 large red onion, chopped
4 ribs celery, chopped
2 cans plain tomato sauce
1 can chili-style beans (mine had pimento and brown beans), NOT DRAINED
1 can red kidney beans, DRAINED
1 can diced tomatoes with green chili peppers
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 packet compliments brand chili seasoning
1 tbsp garlic
Put all ingredients in large stock pot. Simmer on medium heat for 2-4 hours. Alternatively, you can put all ingredients in a crock pot on low for 8-10 hours.
