Welcome to All Of Life’s Questions! I am a 20-something-year-old emergency room nurse. I read aprox. one million blogs every morning and have aspired to start one myself for ages. So, living in the moment. Why not now? All of Life’s Questions is a blog about my life and the things I love. Running, cooking, eating, photography, shopping, and how I love life.
I am married to the most wonderful man in the world . We have been married for almost three years now, and he puts up with my shenanigans of kitchen chaos and taking pictures of EVERY.SINGLE.MOMENT.OF.OUR.LIFE. Ill keep him. =)
I love to run. I am not a fast runner, but I like to think I am a persistent one. My current half marathon PR is 2:46, current 10km PR is 1:06, and current 5km PR is 33 minutes. Slow and steady wins the race? During the summer I struggled to find my place as I was no longer able to do the thing I loved most due to injury. Slowly but surely I am finding my way back, and have started a new half marathon training plan. For those of you who say “i can’t run”, never say never. I never EVER thought I would call myself a runner, and mearly started running to try and loose weight (a constant battle for me!). If you are looking for a great way to start, google the Vancouver SunRun’s learn to run 10km program. Starts slow and easy! This program brought me from the couch to running a half marathon a year later.
I love to cook. If you can make it in your own kitchen, I am bound to try it, no matter how complex or time consuming. I run to free my mind, and I cook to relax. I aspire to open a bake-shop/cafe one day….but I also have toyed with midwifery. A million and one dreams, and only one life time to catch up with them!;) I am learning to cook again after recently finding out about some new allergies. I live a shellfish, peanut, walnut, dairy, gluten, raw peach/kiwi/apple/cherry-free life.
I got my first SLR-digital camera christmas 2012 from my husband. I had wanted once ever since I was 10 years old. I am slowly learning, and hope to take some more classes to improve my skills. Most of the photos you will see on here will just be from my iphone as it is always with me, and small enough to take pictures anywhere. The SLR is my camera of choice when I am making ‘art’. Exploring and capturing the beauty of the world. Hopefully soon I will be more confident in my skills to bring it along more places with me!
Thats enough about me for now. Thanks for checking out my blog. I hope you stick around as I try to navigate this complex techy world. Hope to hear from you in the comments section or via email!
